Chapter 17: Learning Dimension 2

Novel:

Ting remembered what he was doing before. He was thinking of his next moves. After a moment of decision, he decided to check how his game was doing and add a few options to buy in-game boosts and stuff.

He wasn’t going to be one of those jack*****s that put advertisement everywhere there was white space or open space to rack in the dollar bills. It wasn’t a free game after all if he decided to put advertisements in a game people paid for.

He wanted a good reputation for PenguinGames. He didn’t want people not getting his software because his company’s reputation was terrible.

He wanted people to have the mindset that the products he produces are of the highest quality that he could create.

But, he also didn’t want people to know that he was a hacker. Once he gets better and successfully hack into some big companies he is going to be infamous in the cyber scene. He didn’t want people to associate his hacker identity with his company.

But this is if he doesn’t get caught hacking. If his IP got traced he was most likely screwed unless he wasn’t using his own internet.

But maybe with his new pocket world, he could never get caught. Unfortunately, Ling Zhou splashed cold water on that thought.

“Sorry, it doesn’t work like that your internet comes from your home. But you don’t need to pay for your internet when you use it from your pocket world.” Ling Zhou splashed a whole bucket of ice water onto him.

Ting was a bit disappointed but felt better when he didn’t need to pay for the internet. Ting thought about how his pocket world could connect to the internet but it was something he couldn’t know at the moment.

A pocket world already breaks common logic. No science could prove whether other dimensions and alternate universes exist.

Ting didn’t think more about this as he couldn’t understand it.

He turned his phone on to the App Store he noticed that he had an older generation of the smartphone. He decided he needed to get an upgrade later.

Now that he was on the AppStore he searched for his game Kingdom Ruler. When his game showed up it was the first one at the top. This could only mean that his game was the highest rated compared to his search.

Unfortunately, it was the only game that was called Kingdom Ruler. However, it was still rated pretty well. He clicked onto his game and looked at the downloads.

Ting was a little disappointed but it was still quite a large number of downloads.

The number of downloads had reached 30 000 downloads. This meant that he earned 300 System Credits. This wasn’t a huge amount but, he didn’t need so anything to get them all he needed to do was to just wait.

Any small piece of mosquito meat is still meat even if it is very little. A lot of them could accumulate into a hefty amount.

Ting felt great. Ever since he had been expelled he didn’t know what to do with his life, however, this was also good fortune that he went the bar to drink to release him from his chains of guilt.

This was how he got the hacker system. If he didn’t have this stroke of luck he had gotten then he didn’t know what he would be doing.

But, coming back to the task at hand 300 System credits wasn’t a large amount but was quite good for doing nothing but wait.

During this waiting time, he has time to do all the things he wanted to do; he could do some hacking, take some courses in his learning dimension, or exercise to keep in shape.

Ting thought about what to do. He thought about making a decent amount of games or programs, so he could get more people downloading his content and therefore keep the streak of system credits coming.

Once he has a decent amount of applications and games people can download all he needed to do in the future would be to wait and he would earn System Credits by the minute.

But this was something for him to enjoy once he has many more games or applications people can download.

After checking how many people downloaded his game and all the positive reviews. Ting was inspired to program more. Ting Wo wanted his programs to be even more efficient and simple. So he decided to check out the Learning Dimension since it was the second version of it now.

He was wondering how Hua Zhou was since he didn’t really visit her. Even though she was not a real person but something that came from the system’s learning dimension in order to guide him in some courses. Ting still felt that she was a real person.

He thought about how lonely she would be and all the time she spent alone. Remembering that the time ratio is different compared to earth and time passes much slower in the dimension, Ting felt a bit bad.

He hasn’t entered his learning dimension since he started programming his mobile game. If he calculated the time that could be spent during this time inside the dimension, it would be six months.

Without further thought, he entered his learning dimension.

His consciousness fading away. Then slowly he found himself in the learning dimension. Surprised that everything was clean tidy like there was no such thing as dust particles floating everywhere.

When he thought of how dustless this dimension was he felt irritated by the times when he tries to put on a screen protector and there was always this one little air bubble indicating that there was dust there.

But, when he looked around he didn’t see Hua Zhou. He was curious about where she would be. He went to the course interface on the table and searched through. The interface also indicated how much system credits he had.

It displayed 2350 System Credits, he earned about 50 System Credits in just a few moments. It felt great to be earning System credits doing nothing.

Ting checked a lot of the courses. He realized the learning dimension upgraded the last time he used it. He called his assistant to inform him about the changes since he didn’t ask the last time and only asked for information about the pocket world.

Learning Dimension 2:

– More variety of courses.

– Time Ratio 2:1 -> 5:1

It looked like the time ratio increased, so for every 5 hours in the dimension, one hour passes on Earth. This was a good thing to have more time to finish his course because if there was something urgent then he could possibly finish his course in a day or so.

He checked out the list of courses available. It was like every course increased in price by a small amount. He looked at all the new courses. Finally he decided to enroll into a business management program.

He decided to choose a business management for an obvious reason. He needed to know how to manage a company.

Once his company expands, he would be the boss of the whole company. He would need to know how to handle various situations.

If his company expands and Ting doesn’t know how to manage it well. Then his company will get really messy.

Obviously Ting can’t be running it company all the time, he would need to hire a competent manager. Preferably a woman, because why would you want a man to run your company?

For one thing, Ting never had a girlfriend before. He confessed to one, however, he is still single today. Therefore you could tell that he got rejected.

Therefore he decided, he was going to have a woman as his manager or acting CEO. Even if there was a man who had the abilities, he would just be someone working under his manager who he picked.

Ting isn’t going to have some inexperienced and incompetent woman. He is going to choose carefully. One that has the abilities to run his company.

But for Ting, his company was just founded. For now, he needed to run his own company. Therefore, he needed to get experience in managing a company.

Ting pressed the enroll button on the interface. He pressed confirm and afterwards he got deducted 2000 System Credits.

He only had 400 System Credits remaining. When Ting looked at the number of System Credits he had left, Ting Wo tried to think on the positive side.

He thought of how this was going to help him in the long run.

*yawn* “Hey, I’ll be teaching you business management level beginner.” A voice could be heard from the door of the learning dimension room.
