Looking at his stats, he felt like he was on cloud nine. Learning in his dimension was way better than learning in school.
If people knew he could learn like this he might even be dissected and be a specimen in some chamber in a research lab.
Knowing this, he absolutely needs to be carefully and could only reveal his secret to the people who he absolutely trusts.
Otherwise, he would probably be living in a tube of liquid, waiting to be dissected and the sorts.
The worst part, his life might be over by then, he might even be on the run his whole entire life.
Acquiring the new skill, he should be able to complete the HackersNetwork assignment he accepted.
Back on this topic, for Ting, he spent nearly a week in the Learning Dimension, but in reality, only a day had passed.
Instead of choosing to return to his apartment, he decided to expand his pocket world and add a living quarter. When he arrived he walked out the door of his computer room he arrived to one of the doors that lets him choose what the room will hold.
Checking his balance of System Credits, he discovered during the time he had been doing his course for stealth entry, he earned a handful of credits.
His balance is now 5, 155 System Credits. Now choosing the room to be a bedroom, he found out that the whole room was more customizable than what he first thought. He could choose the material of his bed sheets and basically most of everything else.
Under the drop-down menu when he chooses the bed, a list of materials are listed. The quickly found there was a filter list and therefore decided to check out the categorizations of this strange list.
The reason why he describes the list as strange is that the materials in the menu were nearly all unknown to him. Besides a few that were commonly found in mattresses and pillows.
The options shown in the filter was softness – hardness and also pricing for them.
Choosing to show the softest material ーwhich he decided to choose for his pillow and mattress ー he found that the softest material is a material called jemesh, it was quite a strange name.
The price for using this was quite expensive but he will do this for the best sleeping experience. He wanted to feel like he wasn’t on a bed but floating in space. Only that way would his sleepiness gets erased.
Thinking of his bedroom, he didn’t want to 80 percent it. He wanted to do a 120 % job and not have to worry about upgrading it later.
After choosing the best materials and customized his room to his liking.
He spent nearly half an hour to finish decorating his room with various items. He finally pressed the confirm button and showed a progress bar.
Apparently, it would take some time to finish his bedroom and he was getting quite sleepy now. Resisting the urge to rest on the floor a couple minutes had passed when the progress bar hit 100%.
Quickly opening the room, what greeted him was a room that was similar in size to his computer room. That didn’t matter but he quickly ran and settled himself on the bed.
When he touched the bed and gotten into the bed, he nearly moaned of pleasure. Obviously, it was because he chose the softest material, he felt like he was wrapped by silk. But silk wasn’t as soft what he is experiencing now.
He felt like all the fatigue was being drained from him. He didn’t even take a couple of minutes before he fell asleep.
When he woke up he finally took in the scene of his bedroom. Even though he knew what it looked like beforehand because he was the one who chose this design, it was still different from looking at a three-dimensional blueprint and experiencing it in first-person.
He had a walk-in closet at one corner of his room for all his clothing. Shelves that hold his other types of underwear and the sort., The floor was made of some nice carpet that was soft and warm to the touch.
In all honesty, this was the best place he had even been in, he was pretty poor before and didn’t have a good room to sleep in. It could only be called decent. It was still better than being homeless on the streets.
All that he was missing was someone to talk to here. Thinking of this he could help but sigh. He called up his balance and saw that his System Credits totalled 200 System Credits. He spent quite a hefty amount but it was all worth it. He had such a nice place to sleep, how could he complain?
He walked towards his closed door and headed towards his computer room. He sat down on his floating chair and started to open the HackersNetwork website and check the assignment he had accepted.

Seeing that the assignment had updated and the reward was even higher, he couldn’t help but be excited. He started to retrieve information on Klien’s Institution. He wanted to know everything before going in.
That was what he had also taken away from the stealth course he took. The reason why he needed to have a lot of information about his target is that in that way it would minimize the unexpected situations.
It took him nearly 2 days before he could have considered he had enough information. During these two days, he didn’t go to sleep and hacked into some of Klien’s Institutions partners, trying to retrieve useful information. He had been successful, he had found out some of the Institutions guard information.
It looked like even though they are partnered they were also eyeing their research. Sometimes they would go and visit the institution and they would then, therefore, look up information about those guards afterwards.
They kept their guard paths and schedules up to date. Too bad this only benefited Ting as he was going to actually attempt to steal their research data. When he had finished with retrieving information, he went to his bedroom and slept.
He needed to be in his best state when he goes and infiltrates. There could be no error involved, he was thinking this as he dozed off and slept.
He slept for a day and a half and woke up all refreshed.
“Today will be the start of the operation!”
